Westwood Baptist Church
voted overwhelmingly
with a 98% vote
to extend a call to
Matt Brooks
to become our next
Senior Pastor,
and he has accepted the call.

Pastor Matt comes from First Baptist Church in Roswell, NM where he served as Senior Pastor. Previously, he served as Associate Pastor at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano since his call to the ministry in 2002.
Pastor Matt holds a Master of Divinity degree and will soon complete his Doctor of Ministry degree with a major in Expository Preaching from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Chapel Hill, NC.
He and his wife, Bren, both native to Oklahoma, are blessed with a son, Major age 3; and a daughter, Maggie Joy (MJ) age 1.
