The Community of Hope Health Clinic (Live On Mission)

What They Do:
The Community of Hope Health Clinic ministry provides health care for residents of Shelby County who are uninsured and between the ages of 19-64 and have a household income below the poverty level. The clinic opens at 5 p.m. every Thursday with prayer and scripture reading in both Spanish and English since nearly half of the patients are Hispanic.

How We Can Partner With Them:
Several areas of service are open. Small groups, typically about 25 people, are needed to provide food for volunteers. Health Service workers, translators, and chaplains are needed, but due to space there is a limited number of people who can serve.

How We Can Pray For Them:
Chris said their current prayer needs are for physicians, with four they can see 32 patients, a physician assistant would be very helpful too. They also need social workers, receptionists and helpers. Funding is also a concern.
