At Westwood Church we love students! Whether in middle school or high school, we treasure all that God gives to us, and believe that He has great things in store for every student.
Our Student Ministry exists to help students of all ages CONNECT with God, GROW with believers, SERVE in the church, and LIVE on misson.
Below you will find helpful information for students, parents, and leaders in our student ministry. We desire to get your student connected in our ministry, and are prepared to do whatever it takes to serve and equip your family. Please let us know what we can do for you!
There are three primary ways that your student can get connected in our student ministry:
Sunday Morning LIFE Groups
Sunday morning LIFE Groups are the #1 way to get connected at Westwood. Feel free to plug into a life group where you will experience real community, discipleship, accountability, and fellowship. Currently we are studying through REVERB a small group curriculum developed by Student Life. Click here for a schedule of middle school and high school life groups.
Wednesday Night Mid-Week Bible Study
Every Wednesday night our students gather for a time of fellowship, worship, and bible teaching. Our student ministry meets at AREA 51, our off-site location, with middle school meeting from 6:15pm-7:15pm, and our high school meeting from 7:30pm-8:30pm. Come join us for a refreshing time of worship and challenging messages from God's Word. Our current series is entitled Grace: lessons from the book of Ephesians. For directions click AREA 51.
Student Ministry Events
Another great way for students to get connected is through our events and programs that we schedule throughout the year. We offer a wide variety of events and programs designed to help your son/daughter grow in his/her walk with Christ. From retreats and summer camps to service projects and LIFE Group parties, our student ministry offers multiple opportunities to challenge and stretch your student while at the same time having a blast!
