The Christian life is made to be lived in community. Throughout the Bible, you can see the importance God places on the value of community. He designated an entire race to be His people and be a God-focused community. He formed the early church into individual communities for life-change.
At Westwood, we want you to experience true, biblical community. We want to be a place where life meets life. We all need people in our lives who encourage us, pray for us, study God’s Word with us, and dig deep into the layers of who we are. The primary way we help people to grow with believers is by stressing the importance of being in a small group. Through our ABS classes, Home Groups, LifeGroups for students, and Studio 3:16 for children, we want to provide an environment where people can get beyond the surface relationships that cloud most of our lives and experience community. We also have discipleship opportunities for both men and women through our Men's Ministry and Women's Ministry.
